DELIVERANCE - Deliverance [1989]

no puse la carátula porque es muy fea xD, mejor una foto con los lojis :P

A diferencia de la segunda placa (Weapons of Our Warfare, 1990) este disco es muy poco conocido, pero no por eso malo, todo lo contrario. Aquí estamos en frente de un thrash metal bastante diferente al WOOW, puesto que el disco homónimo es mucho más rápido y seco que el otro, que tiene más elementos del heavy metal y el power metal (entiendase Pantera, no el heavy-power sinfónico) así como temas más largos con elementos que caracterizaron su sonido único. Este primer disco es un tanto genérico, es decir, más parecido al resto de discos thrash metal de la época, con la particularidad de utilizar riffs muy SPEED (esto es, riffs ultra-rápidos y ultra-fáciles xD, así como que charanguean la guitarra a toa raja!) lo que hace de este disco una severa patá en el craneo xD. Esta placa es muy difícil de conseguir, así que aprovechenla :)

TEMPEST - A Coming Storm [1987]

Quizás la carátula no promete mucho, pero este es sin duda uno de los mejores discos de heavy metal que he escuchado, los solos son muy buenos, nada de virtuosidad ni escalas raras, pero sí mucho sentimiento, además los riffs conforman muy bien las canciones, armonizando muy bien los temas. El sonido digamos que es más bien "épico", a pesar de que la mayoria de heavy metal de esos años tenía un sonido más bien callejero, esta banda no, lo cual se puede observar en los coros, el bajo "galopante" y cosas así. Espero la disfruten, y eso, bajen el resto de mis discos porque son todos buenos xD

FROST LIKE ASHES - Tophet [2005]

Banda Black/Death de Kansas, formada con algunos de los ex integrantes de POSSESSION (Death/Thrash) más otros lojis. El estilo de FLA es basicamente un death/black brutal, mucho doble bombo y riffs rápidos, y a diferencia del RAW Black Metal, el sonido es limpio y cada instrumento se puede apreciar claramente, si se quieren imaginar a qué se parece, piensen en Behemoth en el mid-age, onda no tan raw black como en sus inicios ni tan tecnos como estan ahora xD, también se me viene a la mente un poco el Penetralia de Hypocrisy y cosas así, un sonido épico, pesado y shacal... pero con un buen mensaje, eso, bajen y disfruten
si andas mirando el blog y quieres encontrar más rapidamente las bandas cristianas pincha el TAG aqui abajo que dice Christian.. así es más fácil!
